  • How does the phase out of R-22 Freon affect me?

Due to the damaging effect R-22  Freon  has on the environment, the production and availability has reduced significantly since 2013. Due to this, the price of R-22  Freon  has increased dramatically.  Regular service or implementing a  maintenance program minimizes the potential for mechanical breakdowns or refrigerant leaks. However, if your system  is over 10 years old, give our office a  call today to set up a  FREE  in-home consultation for the conversion to 410-A Freon.

  • Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Absolutely! Any work performed by our company comes with a  Labor warranty.  Parts, replacements and repairs carry a 30-day Labor warranty.  New HVAC systems carry a  1- year Labor warranty AND a TEN YEAR extended manufacturer's warranty on all equipment installed.

SERVICES

  • Should I turn my unit off when I'm not at home?

Never turn your unit completely off. When no one is at home, we recommend you use a programmable thermostat to maintain a temperature of 10 to 15 degrees higher or lower than your normal settings.

  • Help! My system won't turn on. What do I do?

Occasionally, the reason for a system's malfunction can be simple.  First, check your thermostat to make sure your batteries are still good. If the batteries are good, check your main circuit breaker. Turn the breaker to the unit off and then back on to try and reset the unit.  If it still doesn't work, you may have something more complicated going on. Contact our office to have one of our skilled, trained technicians diagnose your system.

  • Help! My system is leaking water. What do I do?

Many HVAC systems come equipped with an emergency float switch that will turn the system off for you in the event of a water leak. If your system is still running while leaking, turn  it off to avoid further damage to the unit and its surroundings.  If accessible, check your drain  line.  It may have become clogged. Contact our office to have one of our skilled, trained technicians diagnose your system.
